What am I doing?

In March 2012, I left Brazil towards New Zealand in order to study English and see up the major outdoor travel destination in the world. After spending eight months (April to November 2012), self engaging on English studies and doing some volunteer jobs in conservation projects, I began my empirical journey through that country. During that time, I've been traveling southward New Zealand for eight months (December 2012 to July 2013), trekking a number of wilderness areas, living in huts and campsites, spending my time with local people and worldwide travelers, and above all getting to know how the public and private services of travel activities works. In July 2013, I headed out to Asia with the goal of discovering new places and new cultures always looking for unique experiences. I settled for 6 months (August 2013 to January 2014) in southwest of Thailand (at Ko Phra Thong and Ko Ra islands) doing some freelance and volunteer jobs for small resorts, a conservation project and a dive shop, leading family groups in day-trips (hiking and sea kayaking), supporting guests and producing some itineraries.

In February 2014 I got volunteer opportunity in a Community-based Ecotourism in Luang Namtha province (Laos), where I was helping it in monitoring and analysis of the project for 4 months. The result of this volunteer work was a recommendation report  (45 pages) focused on four main themes: Tourism User Fee Program, Awareness Campaing for Visitors, Ecotourism Traning Program and Ecotourism Certification Program.

Currently, I'm arranging promoting and selling products in outdoor experience itineraries, including market research and advertising, and tutoring on techniques of leading groups in a local travel company in Laos.
